Claxton’s internal wellbore sealing solution consists of an inflatable seal that sits on the MSC deployment mandrel and rubber bung seals which seal on the outside diameter of the hoses where they pass through the tool.

Our solution has been developed in order to solve the problem of air escaping within the multi-string casing whereby perforations in the innermost casing sit above the position of the MSC tool. These perforations are made during the plug and abandonment cement process which requires holes to be made within the wellbore.

Flow by ports

Flow by ports are installed by ROV and a specially designed installation tool. Claxton’s flow by ports ensure no loss of air through-flow by ports, allowing the well to be de-watered. This removes the risk of poor cutting due to a water flooded well, therefore ensuring efficient cutting of the final casing string in the event of open flow by ports.
