When platform wells need to be safely and efficiently suspended, Claxton’s field proven, multi-award-winning suspended well abandonment technology, SWAT™, can be applied.
Claxton’s perforation wash and cement tool, SWAT, has successfully placed intermediate and environmental barriers in over 100 subsea wells without the need for a drilling rig.
To complement our rigless platform offering, Claxton’s in-house R&D team have developed a variant especially for platform wells, enabling clients to experience the benefits of SWAT on their platform wells too. This technology allows Claxton’s multi-skilled crews to place the final well barriers resulting in a permanently abandoned well without the need for a rig or coil tubing operations.
