Claxton’s internal dredging system is designed for the clearance of debris, sediment and soil across a range of pile sizes. From subsea/submerged piles to jacket legs for both installation and decommissioning, as well as other applications.

Proven to withstand the harshest of subsea environments, Claxton’s internal dredging system has been designed to be used in conjunction with either Claxton’s R300 dredging system or airlift, to break up and remove hard sediment or clay soil plugs from within piles. A combination of high pressure/high flow water jets and the vacuum/suction from Claxton’s R300 dredge/airlift is proven very effective and has culminated in Claxton’s successful track record.

The removal of the soil plug from within the pile enables the pile to be cut internally below the seabed by means of an abrasive internal pile cutter. Claxton’s internal dredging system with R300 dredge can be deployed either by diver or WROV. Claxton’s internal dredging system with airlift can be deployed by a crane with optional assistance from WROV should it be required.
