HP and UHP water jetting systems
Prepare subsea surfaces for structure inspection
Claxton high pressure (HP) and ultra-high pressure (UHP) pumps are an integral part of the services that we provide which include abrasive cutting, high-pressure cleaning, and bespoke water pressure cleaning tools in addition to jetting systems.
Claxton provide several HP and UHP water jetting systems. These are powered by a range of pumps with pressures and flow rates to suit the task. They can be diver or ROV operated and provide an effective means of preparing subsea surfaces for structure inspection, maintenance and repair as well as breaking up the seabed for dredging purposes. These systems can also be used topside for the removal of valve and pipeline coatings.
Claxton’s variety of diver jetting lances provide an effective means of preparing surfaces for inspection, maintenance or repair.
Preparing surfaces for inspection, maintenance or repair
Claxton’s variety of diver jetting lances provides an effective means of preparing surfaces for inspection, maintenance or repair. These are also used to help break up a stubborn seabed for dredging operations. Depending on the environment and the type of surface, the use of HP or UHP can be advised by our internal experts. HP is defined as having pressures up to 1700 bar and above this is UHP. With some projects clients will require higher flow rates rather than just pressure, so we are happy to discuss your needs on a case by case basis.
In addition to divers jetting lances, Claxton also provide ROV lances which have been designed for use with ROV handles and shorter barrels that can be easily controlled using a manipulator.
