Safe platform and load-bearing structure for JULB recovery operations
The lightweight recovery deck combines with a jack-up lift barge (JULB) or suitable platform crane to provide a safe platform and load-bearing structure to react against during the recovery phase of a decommissioning project.
When wells are recovered using a JULB crane, the lightweight recovery deck is essential for successful severance, cut-proving and recovery on smaller ageing structures.
The deck can be adapted to the requirements of any platform and can be modified for use at multiple project phases, including conductor and casing severance and recovery.
