Offshore wind is an ever-increasing part of the energy infrastructure globally and Claxton are delighted to play our part in helping build these offshore wind farms. Throughout 2024 we were involved with multiple projects globally:
- 57 Offshore Windfarm Monopiles Cleaned: Our MGR Tool prepared these monopiles for transition piece installation.
- 3 Windfarm Monopiles Cut and Recovered Subsea: Achieving a world first in offshore wind recovering ⌀6.5m by 8.5m tapered monopiles.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are excited for a significant year in renewables. One of our Marine Growth Removal Tools is already mobilised for the first of 176 monopile cleaning operations off the East Coast of the United States.
