Claxton’s IQIP S90 hydraulic hammer recently completed the successful installation of piles ranging from 508mm to 1219mm as part of a challenging marine project in Great Yarmouth Harbour.
Supplied with interchangeable sleeves to accommodate varying pile sizes, the S90 was on rental to Teignmouth Maritime Services (TMS Ltd), who specifically selected this hammer for its operating features.
This project presented unique challenges, including pile driving near submerged gas mains. Thanks to meticulous planning, strong communication, and expert engineering, all piles were safely driven to the required penetration.
