Last month we said goodbye (for now!) to our brilliant Aberdeen Summer Intern, Muzna Khan, who is heading back to university for her third year of studies in BEng Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
Over the past few months, sheโs made a real impact and gained valuable hands-on experience across a range of engineering and design tasks, including:
๐น Gaining insight into our internal processes, procedures, and engineering workflows
๐น Developing technical skills in 3D modelling and drawing standards using SolidWorks and PDM
๐น Understood principles of rigging and lifting calculations
๐น Learning about key industry standards including DNV, ISO, and BS
๐น Supporting reverse engineering of Claxton products and producing parts/drawings for spares
๐น Participating in design reviews and engineering pack creation
๐น Building confidence in communication, documentation, and presenting technical work
Itโs been a pleasure having her on the team โ her curiosity, dedication, and enthusiasm have been truly appreciated.
Wishing her all the best for the academic year ahead!
