OW Ocean Winds UK Moray West offshore windfarm has been activated, it will have the capacity to generate up 822MW of electricity - enough power for 1.3 million homes.
The facility, 13 miles off the coast of Buckie, was switched on by Scottish Secretary Ian Murray in a ceremony last week.

A new tool was developed specifically for this project, to suit the 7.5m diameter monopile profile, with our experienced offshore technicians Claxton delivered a 90 minute average clean time. Providing a clean surface for the turbine transition piece to be installed.
