Claxton and Gulfstream Services, Inc. (GSI) Sign Strategic Partnership

Collaboration Leverages Capability to Deliver Simplified, High-Impact Decommissioning Solutions for Global Clients.

Abu Dhabi, 5th November 2025 – Claxton, renowned for its ability to cut through complexity and deliver efficient decommissioning projects, throughout Well P&A and platform/infrastructure removal, for the energy industry, today announces the signing of a strategic partnership with Gulfstream Services, Inc. (GSI), a leading global provider of decommissioning equipment and services.

This agreement brings together the complementary capabilities of Claxton and GSI, empowering both companies to better address the most challenging demands across the global decommissioning landscape.

For over four decades, Claxton has built its reputation by solving the most challenging subsea and engineering obstacles - helping clients achieve operational excellence by delivering practical, efficient, and reliable decommissioning solutions. At the heart of Claxton’s value proposition is the commitment to cutting through complexity, ensuring clients can keep projects on track, on time, and on budget. Backed by an agile team of problem-solvers and a global support network, Claxton’s expertise spans drilling, production, and decommissioning, enabling them to deliver results where innovation and clarity matter most.

Since 1978, Gulfstream Services has provided leadership and innovation to the oil and gas industry, earning a global reputation across multiple sectors and product service lines. Since the establishment of its Decommissioning Division in 2005, GSI has worked across several regions to provide cutting and recovery solutions to its clients in the safest and most efficient manner possible. Backed by its ISO and API-certified quality systems, GSI prioritizes operational excellence by providing reliable equipment and highly trained personnel for every project it engages in.

Through this partnership, Claxton and GSI will extend their ability to streamline operations for clients, integrating GSI’s field proven decommissioning equipment (shears, grapples, saws and core drills) with Claxton’s leading abrasive cutting technology, project management and global footprint. The partnership simplifies procurement, increases project execution efficiency and reduces costs for clients by offering a wider range of cutting and decommissioning equipment and services under a single contract and one point of contact.
“We are thrilled to partner with GSI, an alliance that stays true to our promise of cutting through complexity and delivering what matters most to our clients,” said Sam Hanton, Managing Director - Claxton. “By combining Claxton’s pragmatic, solution-driven approach with GSI’s global equipment portfolio, we continue to focus on driving standards for clarity, reliability, and operational success in the industry.”

Kyle Sadler, GSI Eastern Hemisphere Manager, added, “Claxton and GSI have worked together globally over many years with safe and successful execution of many significant decommissioning projects. This agreement recognises that history and makes it even easier for clients to access their combined experience and capability, resulting in the reduced risk and better value the industry has called for.”
