LATEST NEWS: Claxton appoints new general manager for its rapidly growing Middle East function
Claxton, a leading supplier of engineering and services for shallow-water, jackup-depth markets in subsea services group Acteon, has appointed Craig Glatley as the general manager of its Middle East operations, based in Dubai.
With almost three decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, Craig’s career has taken him all over the world including South America, the Middle East and South East Asia. Having worked in several senior executive positions from business development, operations, and sales, his most recent post was for a well intervention service company in Oman. Craig has experience in strategic planning, development of performance-based solutions and supply chain. With Claxton he will be responsible for all aspects of project management in the region whilst being the key focal point for our other regional offices around the world.
When asked about his immediate plans for Claxton’s Middle East operations, Craig responded; “Success for me will be to build on what we do well and to continue with the engagement strategy we have built over the past years with our customers and supply chain. I have a great team here at Claxton and I want to keep developing that capability.
“I hope that my appointment will influence continued collaborative working between Acteon Group companies, increased growth for the base to encourage further employment and career development opportunities for the next generation of engineers and service technicians.”
