Claxton is king of the castle!
On the 9th of September Claxton was joined by members of the Acteon executive team and a host of clients to celebrate two and a half decades of trading.
Held in one of Scotland’s finest castles; Fyvie Castle, Inverurie, the night mixed cocktails with a three course dinner cooked by the executive chef of the Royal Yacht Britannia. Guest were also invited to after-dinner Whisky tasting, complemented by tours of the castle conducted by the National Trust.
In the last 25 years Claxton has grown from a small family company to become a flagship business within the Acteon Group and everyone in the company is naturally proud of how far the business has come.
Laura Claxton, managing director, said “We’re acutely aware of the trust our clients place in us when they invite us to assist with their projects – so to see so many clients at the anniversary who’ve worked with us for numerous years is really gratifying for the whole team… and, I hope, a testament to how well we repay that trust.
“We genuinely believe the next 25 years will see us offer even more value to clients as we’ve got a mix of unique technologies, a proven record of successful innovation and, most importantly, we’ve retained the service ethic you normally only get from a much smaller business.”
Claxton’s 25th anniversary comes after rapid expansion and multiple years of year-on-year growth – providing services to the jack up drilling and decommissioning communities such as world-first 12,200psi full bore riser technology and the multi-award winning suspended well abandonment tool (SWAT).
